Locations are optionally used to track where physical inventory assets are located. Locations consist of a site, building, floor and room, with an optional description. Confidential locations are visible only to superusers.
By default, all locations are “On-premises.” You can change the location category to “Off-premises” to indicate that a location is not considered to be on campus.
Only superusers can add, edit or delete locations. You cannot delete locations that have any assets located in them.
